NEWTON MARSH PHOTOS.

Monday a.m. was bright and cold so I decided on a visit to Newton Marsh to see what was about.Plenty of Wigeon,Teal with a few Coots,Moorhens,Shovelers,Mallard and a pair of Gadwall. On the wader front lots of distant Lapwing,Curlew,Golden Plover with a few Starling mixed in.About 10 Redshank were flying around the marsh while 8 Whooper Swans flew over north east.I've posted a few images from my enjoyable morning at Newton Marsh.

An excellent six set Martin. I think my pick of the bunch is the brilliantly reflected Wigeon with the Black-tailed Godwit flight a close second.
