I visited Preston Dock to photograph the terns.The weather was overcast and the conditions weren`t exactly brilliant for photography,but the terns never fail to put on a show and you feel obliged to press the shutter on the camera.A couple of the images I`ve posted are large crops to get rid of the busy background.I think the fish is a small dace dropped by an adult and soon attacked by the ants to take back to their larder [fascinating].I will return again soon hopefully in better light.

Martin. Yes great fun with Preston's terns.Keeps the camera busy. Don't think the fish is a dace I will look into this one for you.Catch up with you sometime.
