After hearing reports of hare coursing at Newton Marsh,I decided to have a trip down there to see if any hares were left on the marsh.I counted a total of four hares one of which came close enough to allow me to capture a few images some of my better images are posted below.

They are lovely Martin. I've never seen a hare do the stand up pose as you've photographed.
Always good to see hares Martin, even better if they are close enough to photograph. Nice collection with one or two photos where it looks a bit coy. Makes you wonder how they manage with all that electric fencing. They'll be boxing soon... I have them down as mating in February – despite what they say about Mad March Hares!
