RAPTOR ROUNDUP.
Im getting a bit frustrated with the weather and the bird life being quite.So while i'ts pouring down with rain I've looked back at some images I took over the winter and spring months of raptors. 1Merlin at Newton Marsh.2 Kestrel at Newton Marsh 3Sparrowhawk at my feeding station after an unsuccessful attack at my feeders 4Buzzard over my feeding station,a pleasant surprise. 5 Buzzard at Newton Marsh. Now that makes me feel a bit better.

Martin....The Merlin pic HAS TO BE my favourite as its certainly by far my most favourite raptor. Its flown off to some other blog, hope you don't mind.
Keep up the good work and most of all enjoy it.
Smashing collection Grommit, err Martin. Merlin gets my vote too – I still have to get a decent pic of A Kestrel in flight, so well done there too. Sprawk excellent and Buzzard too. Agree weather and 'goings on' (dog walkers/distrubance etc) getting a bit frustrating. It will all be change and we'll wonder where the light went.
