LARGE SKIPPER BUTTERFLY.
A few images of the large Skipper Butterfly taken at Newton Marsh, Fairhaven sand dunes and Cottam Brick Works soon to become another Tesco what a shame.
Martin. Enjoyed your butterfly shots...I am fairly certain however that it is a small and not a large skipper !!! Perhaps we could chat at sometime about this one.Bit of a mixed week weatherwise again but hope to get out..maybe tomorrow.

What a stunning creature Martin, beautifully captured.
I agree, the loss of Cottom Brickworks is a real shame.
We're fighting a development on green land behind our house at the moment. It's infuriating to witness the eating up of our local habitats.
