The weather was fine as I left Preston with the sun braking through the thin cloud cover,as I crossed the river the fog came down and I thought I'm wasting my time here.On reaching my destination the visibility was down to 30-40 yds but I decided to stay for a couple of hours hopeful the fog would lift. The owl came into view through the fog and I managed to capture a few images with high iso settings and slow shutter speeds.I'm pleased with the results and like the composition of the owl appearing through the fog.

North Wales Snowbuntings.
I was invited to North Wales to photograph the snowbuntings, the weather forecast for Lancashire was for fog but for North Wales sunshine.I set of from Preston in thick fog and almost turned back but at Charnock Richard the fog lifted and the weather slowly improved. In North Wales it was a cold bright day and the snowbuntings performed for the camera.A wonderful day out in the good company of Gerhard,Mike and David.I'veposted a few of my favourite images below for your enjoyment.
