Friday afternoon was hot and humid and Geoff and myself had arranged to meet at 1 pm at Cottam for a walk around the meadows and ponds looking for butterflies and dragonflies. It was a wonderful afternoon and the cameras were kept busy capturing images of the wildlife.I've posted a few images below of meadow brown, gatekeeper, and large skipper butterflies, common darter dragonfly, and common blue damselfly,an image of a waterlily at one of the ponds and an unknown spider in one of the meadows make up the collection of images for you to enjoy.Thank you to GG for an enjoyable afternoon.

Hi Martin
Crackin hour or so... MANY THANKS. Enjoyed it.

Sure someone will confirm/correct but think that first damselfly (8th pic) might be Azure Blue.

Good lunch hour! Nice selection of images.
