.I've been waiting for the swallow families to arrive at Newton Marsh for a few weeks now.The parents bring their young to the marsh learning them how to hawk for insects over the meadows and marsh, after a while the young swallows tire and rest on the fence around the marsh. The parents carry on hawking and bring the food to the screaming young.I managed to capture of this behaviour and have posted a few images for your enjoyment.

Marshside Reed Warbler.
This isn't the best reed warbler in the world and these aren't the best photographs in the world. The post is about the action the bird does to find and capture its prey,a little insight into the day-to -day life of these enchanting and shy birds.I've posted a few images showing some of the action.
