TROUGH OF BOWLAND LANDSCAPES.

Over the last few weeks I`ve been to the Trough 5 or 6 times looking for birds to photograph,but the weather has been against the birds as it has been to cold with very little food about.I decided to try my hand at a few landscapes and though I`am only a novice at this kind of photography and have very limited artistic skill I enjoyed myself and have posted a few of my efforts below.P S don`t be fooled by the sunshine in the images it was bitterly cold.

MERE SANDS WOOD WEED DANCE.

After three visits,sixteen hours in the Cyril Gibbon hide,almost four hours travelling I finally got just less one minute of the grebes weed dance.Was it worth it,you bet.The grebes performed at a decent distance in great light and I`m more than happy with the results. I`ve called the images,the courtship begins,here comes the weed,up we go,the beautiful pose,and back to nest building.
