PHALAROPE FRENZY.

After Tuesday's wild weather it had calmed down a bit on Wednesday so I  travelled back to Fairhaven Lake to try to capture some more images of the Grey Phalarope.Quite a few photographers were present and an enjoyable time was had by all. There was still a breeze and a lot of cloud about, but at times the sun shone through to give better light.A few of my better efforts are shown below and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did spending time with this little star of a bird.

Passing ships Martin, surprised we didn't bump into each other. A fine collection of images for your protfolio.

A beautiful collection of images Martin. The colours reflected in the water make for stunning photographs and the bird's not bad either! I really like the red-tinted water shot with the bird looking down serenely.

Martin. More superb images...It was difficult not to get great images of this star bird as we overdosed on the closeness of the bird and the wonderful light. A great experience enjoyed by us all. Catch up with you soon.
