THIRD TIME LUCKY.

After aprox 20 hr's watching these magnificent birds a few images that i'm very pleased with, image 5 is heavily cropped to show a more dramatic effect.Thursday wasn't without incident as the large female chick fell out off the nest. Thanks to P.C PLOD and ANDY from Turbary Bird of Prey Sanctuary the situation was soon under control and the chick is off for a few day's holiday berore being reunited with it's parents

Martin, good fun at the time and interestingly your images show that 'halo' affect too on some of the edges of thebirds in flight, clearly the conditions at the time. You lucky so and so sorting out the juvenile and as we thought at the time, pic 5 is an award winner. WELL DONE. I'd keep that one for any photo competitions. Super.

Martin. These are excellent...especially pic5. Agree with Geoff this is a brilliant action shot and well deserved for all the time you have spent with these magnificent raptors. Very well done and keep up the good work.

Yes, I'm with the pic No 5 vote as being excellent, and the juvenile at the bottom also has the same tag from me too Martin.

Hi Martin, my brother Terry Whiteside gave me the link to your blog, so just wanted to say hello,
Your blog is great, the birds in flight is what I am trying to do, I have a lot to learn though, I love the reflection shots just beautiful, I also have one of the Crested Grebe not as nice as yours though, I have looked into this blog idea since seeing yours, and it looks like quite a bit of work ! but when I get some time I hope to get one up and running so you can see my photos too, I will keep popping in to see what new photos you put up,
Cheers from downunder,
Ray
