Down at Newton Marsh the moorhens are starting to get territorial and one or two skirmishes nave taken place,I managed to be in the right place at the right time to capture some of the action with the camera and have posted a few of my efforts below.

AN ENJOYABLE DAY OUT.
A mixture of images taken early morning at Newton Marsh and later in the day in the Trough Of Bowland. A very enjoyable and pleasant day out in a bit of sunshine even though it was still cold. Hopefully the migrants will start flooding in soon.

Newton Marsh Little Egrets.
Little Egrets are often seen on Newton Marsh but usually in the far distance,if you get to within 100yds of them they get nervous and at 60-70 yds they are off. Saturday I was there very early waiting for them to come to me and eventually a bird came close enough for me to capture a few images.

DIPPER QUANDARY.
I'm posting a few Dipper images from one of the many sites I visit to photograph them,I first visited this site on the 6th of Feb and saw the pair of Dippers nest building and now mid April no sign of the dippers feeding the young. The Dippers are still about but I don't know if the nest has failed or not.My new computer is up and running and a few minor adjustments may still have to be made.If you could please comment on the images for brightness and colour it would be very much appreciated thank you.
